About us

LiftX was created out of a nationwide need for good service in the EWP industry.  Founded in 2002, the LiftX brand was created in 2008 and remains the only specialised sales, servicing and parts centre for access equipment in New Zealand. We are different because

Meet our team


As the Director of LiftX Jason is extremely competent. He holds an Advanced Trade Automotive Engineer qualification and has over Seven years experience working on access equipment.

When Jason is not at work he enjoys jet boating, hunting and fishing and spending time with his wife and two daughters.



Clint is the North Island Sales Manager for liftX. Clint has an extensive background in the EWP Industry and has worked within the industry for the last 20 years. When Clint is not working he enjoys spending time with his family in the Hawkes Bay.



For Shane fixing things is both a job and a hobby. Shane travels the South Island repairing and certifying access equipment in his role as Mechanic/Foreman for LiftX. Shane has been with LiftX for over 6 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.



Darryl joins the team with a background in Spraypainting. Darryl is a Car enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his Family.



Luke comes to us with a background and car maintenance and general mechanical knowledge, When Luke is not working he his spending time with kids and working on race cars. Luke is one of our rebuild technicians and also runs our Sandblasting booth.



Brendon comes to Liftx with a background in Automotive engineering. Big motorsport fan and spends most of his time working on his cars and spending time with his family.



Carl has arrived from the UK with his partner on a travelling visa. They have spent the last few years travelling throughout the world stopping in places such as China and all over Asia and Europe.



Jaydin comes to the team from a background in spray painting and car repairs. Jaydin is a huge Speedway fan and loves spending time with his family.



Chris comes to us with a background in Heavy Diesel industry. When not at work you can find Chris hanging out with his partner and working on race cars.



Michelle covers all the admin duties and office work at LiftX. When not at work you can find Michelle spending time with her Family.



Stu come sto Liftx with a Qualified Welder background. Stu enjoys hunting, fishing, jetboating and spending time with his Family when not at work.



Hamish comes to Liftx straight out of High School and is our all rounder cool workshop guy. When not at work you can find him at Motorcross and downhill Mountain Biking.


Hamish Mc:

Hamish is an Auto Mechanic/Electrical Technician and comes to us with a wealth of knowledge. Hamish is involved in Rally New Zealand and is a BMW enthusiast.. Hamish is one of our product support technicians.
