However, we can service and rebuild all makes and models of scissor lifts, cherry pickers, knuckle boom lifts, straight/telescopic boom lifts, truck-mounted booms, telehandlers or any other type of EWP.

Fast call-out for elevated work platform repairs

Our EWP sales & service teams offer a New Zealand-wide call-out and breakdown service. We do our best to get to you as soon as possible. This can often be the same day! Our CBIP (Certification Board for Inspection Personnel) certified technicians can travel almost anywhere in New Zealand to conduct repairs on your machine.

Alternatively, repairs can be done in either one of our Christchurch and Auckland based workshops. We have several field service vehicles and can usually be out to your elevated work platform within the hour of first contact.

Our inventory includes an extensive range of parts for all makes and models of access equipment. This ensures we’re ready to respond when you need help. In the unlikely occasion that the required part is out of stock, we will get it in as soon as possible.

10-year major inspections for elevated work platforms (rebuilds)

No matter the size, make or model of access equipment, once a new machine is 10 years old, it must be rebuilt to comply with National Safety Standards.

What happens during the rebuild process?

When a machine is rebuilt it is completely stripped down and sandblasted, all critical welds are crack-tested and repaired as needed, all pins and bushes checked and replaced if needed. Full check over of the hydraulic system and electrical system. The machines are then repainted and reassembled and all safety systems are checked. Rebuilt machines are fitted with a Rebuild Plate to record this process.

Upon completion of the rebuild the machines are legally certified for a 5-year period. They have a 3-month warranty from the date of the rebuild (if purchased as a second-hand machine from LiftX) and they are sold with a valid 6-month certification.

All our 10-year inspections are carried out to AS 2550.10 STD and comply with New Zealand's Current Code of Practice.
